Our History & Background

Bharati Vidyapeeth Shikshana Samithi (BVSS) was established under the Government of India's National Education Policy 1986, as a Minority Education Open Board authorized under Article 19(1), 29 & 30 of the Constitution.

Over 18+ years, BVSS has grown to serve 25,000+ students through 800+ study centres across Maharashtra, delivering quality open distance education to minorities, OBCs, women and working professionals.

We operate under the Human Rights Protection Act 1993 and are automatically recognized by all Government Departments, ensuring our graduates can pursue further studies or government employment.

Foundation Established

BVSS registered as a Minority Education Open Board under Article 19(1), 29 & 30 of the Constitution.

First Study Centres Opened
